Alaskan Klee Kai were first invited to participate in the UKC Top Ten Invitational in 2000.  This was a true honor since in the year 2000 less than 60 of the over 300 UKC recognized breeds were eligible and invited to compete!

With 8 of the 14 eligible AKK entered and 7 shown; the AKK were one of the breeds best represented. Huge Kudos and Thanks to both Peg Gross (Schipperkes and Finnish Spitz) and Kathy Shannon (English Springer Spaniels) for stepping in to help handle during the Preliminary Round!

The AKK Community should and can be proud of how well all the AKK representing the breed in their first year of eligibility did and should all be especially proud of Buddy and his daughter Legacy.  They are truly outstanding representatives of Alaskan Klee Kai!
